Step 3

Submit an official transcript from the institution that granted your bachelor's degree.

Students who have obtained degrees from colleges or universities outside of the U.S. are required to submit an official report of course-by-course evaluated transcripts of all secondary and post-secondary work to Lamar University directly from the evaluating agency. To qualify for graduate credit, your degree must be equivalent to a bachelor's degree from an accredited U.S. college or university. *Students who obtained Bachelor's degrees from the UK and Canada may submit their official transcripts instead of an official evalution for this credit only option. Please note that if you want to be enrolled at Lamar University as a graduate student, you will be required to submit an official evlauation, even if you attended school in the UK or Canada.

International applicants are required to provide proof of English language proficiency through scores on the TOEFL or IELTS. This testing requirement is waived only for applicants who have completed at least two consecutive years of study at a college or university in the U.S. or in an English proficiency-exempt country. Scores are valid for two years, and must be received directly from the testing agency.

How much does it cost?

You pay no tuition. $100 per credit hour transcription fee for a total of $300
